Winter 2019 Debate
The debate for Winter 2019 elections was held on Monday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hussey Room of the Michigan League.
Campaign Expense forms can be found here. A note from the Election Director:
Due to ambiguous language in the candidate packet and election code, candidates that did not have any campaign expenses were not penalized for submitting a late form.
Candidate applications are now live. Applications must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or in person at the Central Student Government Office (2450 North Quad) by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019.
This form, or another form of Endorsement Verification, must be submitted via email to the Election Director at email@example.com prior to dissemination or advertisement of any endorsements.
This process serves an evidentiary purpose in clarifying whether an advertised endorsement has been properly authorized. Endorsements for a party are not assumed to extend to any individual member of that party, however endorsements for a party and candidates from that party can be authorized by a single copy of this form with a completely filled out “Candidate/Party Name” line and appropriate authorizing signatures by the candidate(s) and party chair.
