The Central Student Government Assembly met on March 17, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. via Blue Jeans. The recap from this meeting can be found here.


The Assembly considered:


Old Business:

  • AR 9-062: A Procedural Resolution to Implement Operation of the Student Organization Funding Committee During the Summer

  • AR 9-063: A Procedural Resolution Amending the Compiled Code to Codify the Role of the ABTS Liaison and Move it to the Executive Board

  • AR 9-069: A Declarative and Directive Resolution Calling for the Reduction of Light Pollution by the University of Michigan

New Business:

  • AR 9-071: A Procedural Resolution to Make CSG Function Better

  • AR 9-072: A Procedural Resolution to Codify Successful Projects Passed in the 9th Assembly

  • CA 9-075: A Constitutional Amendment to Ensure the Equal Representation of Schools and Colleges in Constitutional Amendment Adoption

Motions:

  • Motion to allocate $20,000 to Dean of Students' Emergency Fund

  • Motion to Amend SOFC Funding Criteria

The Central Student Government (CSG) of the University of Michigan, are comprised of students of different backgrounds who have come together to serve our fellow students and the entire University of Michigan community.

Through our work and advocacy, we seek to encourage student civic engagement, give voice to student concerns, and enhance student welfare and the Michigan experience for everyone.
