The U-M Central Student Government is dedicated to making its web-based content accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to follow the standards set forth in Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines authored by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
We provide text equivalents for all audio-visual content. All video content we provide should have captions available. All non-decorative images should have alt attributes that provide a text alternative for the image. Webpages should be able to be effectively navigated using the tab key. Users are able to skip navigation links that are consistent across all pages.
If you have any suggestions on how we can make our content more accessible, please contact us at email@example.com.
